Bottom line. Deciding between LOT business class and Singapore first class doesn’t seem like it should be a tough decision, yet here we are. There’s the option to cross the Atlantic in either product, and oddly the LOT option sounds more intriguing. However, I’m also questioning this choice, so I’m coming to y’all for a sanity check here.
United 787-9 business class layout & seating. I’ve flown the new United Polaris business class seats before, including on the 767-300, 787-8, 787-10, and 777-300ER. However, this was my first time flying a United 787-9 with the new Polaris seats. Polaris cabins are gorgeous, plain and simple, from the cabin finishes to the mood lighting.
United Airlines. In mid-2016 United announced a long-awaited overhaul of its international business-class service and amenities, including new seats. The cabins' name, Polaris, is chosen after the North Star. The new seats have already debuted aboard United’s Boeing 777-300ERs and will follow on its future 787-10 and A350-1000 aircraft.
If you can't get a seat on one of the planes mentioned above, your next best bet for comfort would be a Polaris first seat on United's older 3-cabin planes — United's phasing out long-haul first class soon, but the original end date of June 20 has been pushed out, to August 20 as of now. After 3-cabin first class, you want the old Continental

United business vs. first class United first class is available only on flights within the U.S. and Canada. United business class is available on flights between the U.S. and Latin America or the Caribbean, as well as some U.S.
